There was once an old fisherman who carried this revolver to the seas every day. He was known in the local pub for telling some strange stories about disappearing ships and monstrosities lurking in the depths of the sea, creatures that could devour an entire galleon or destroy a whole shipyard with ease. Nobody believed his words, and at some point, they stopped listening to him, thinking he had gone mad.

One day, the old fisherman never came back to the pub. Even his boat has been vanished without a trace since then. The people thought he had drowned himself in all of his madness, and they didn't even seem to care what might have happened to him.

The only remnant of his story is a buried revolver that washed up on the shoreline, telling tales in the form of an engraved kraken and some unknown symbols. Sunken and forgotten, the ancient patina is probably as old as the stories of these ominous creatures that are lurking in the depths of the sea.

Who knows if those stories are true? Who knows what lies beneath the surface of the ocean? One thing is for certain: The fear of the dark unknown is still part of the human being to this day.
